These images all came from original photos that I took during a hospitality
visit to the Silverstone Paddock Club, hosted by my company,
Nortel Networks. The action
is captured from the pit lane walk-about, around 10 to 20 minutes before
official qualifying for the year 2000 Silverstone GP.

These are some further photos (click the picture for an enlargement) from a Nortel Networks corporate day as the guests of BMW Williams F1 Team at the BRDC (British Racing Drivers Club), during this F1 testing day. Jenson Button was the guest speaker after lunch .... he answered a few questions - so I asked him "what would be your favorite historic racing car to drive"? ...... this took him some time to answer (the Williams PR guy said this was because he isn't old enough to remember many!) - but he eventuallly replied that it probably wouldn't be an F1 car - perhaps the Porsche 917 ... good choice Jenson, I say!
These were the times for the day (sorry ladies - but Jenson came last! - but click here for Jenson Button's website)
